We are proud to feature the first 18-hole Lee Trevino Signature Golf Course east of the Mississippi River. Winding through 200 acres of wooded terrain, the course reveals its subtle nuances while providing scenic vistas of ancient oaks, ponds, beech trees and native wildlife. The Signature Golf Course is the centerpiece of the Ironwood Community.

Choose from any of the 5 tee box locations available to suite all skill levels and abilities. The front nine holes are open with rolling double fairways leading to a wooded back nine running parallel to the historic Tar River.

Finding a group to play with is never a problem. Our men’s group welcomes new comers making it very easy to meet and compete with your fellow members and the matches are advantageous for all levels of play.

Our Ladies Association is a growing association that is primarily a 9 holer’s group because of the many new lady golfers that we have. Becoming a part of the Ladies Association allows you a chance to meet your fellow Ironwood Ladies and experience and learn the game in a very low pressure atmosphere. Our more experienced ladies have taken on a leadership role and welcome all Ladies to participate.

Our juniors stay busy during the summer with two golf camps that cover all aspects of the game from putting, chipping, and full swing basics to rules, etiquette and basic care of the golf course. The 10 – 17 year old juniors enjoy participating in our summer Travel team where they have a chance to compete with other juniors in the same age group from other area clubs. One of our favorite monthly events during daylight savings time is our Parent Child 9 hole events. You and your junior golfer will enjoy an evening of 9 holes of alternate shot competition followed by dinner and prizes.

We understand that golf is the sport of a life time and a great way to spend time with your family and friends.
